The year is 2009

A guest walks up to the  registration counter and sees 2 plaques on the wall.  One says, “Clean Rooms Award - 2005″ and the other says “Clean Rooms Award - 2004″.  If I were that guest, I may be thinking - “Maybe this place isn’t very clean anymore”.  If you don’t have a current plaque, take the other 2 down.

Where did that spider go?

Am I going to be sleeping with him?  This inference could easily be made by a guest where a cobweb was visible (in a corner, between chair  legs, etc.).  Suggestion:  Get rid of the darned things!–Duh.

Service “Tune-Ups”

If your property is rated 4 Diamond or 5 Diamond by AAA, it is important that you have your service levels reviewed via an anonymous service evaluation.  No matter whether it is Fristad Consulting Group, LLC or another entity which provides the service, this should be done at least once a year or, if there are seasonal highs and lows, once during high occupancy and once during low occupancy.  This will help to maintain consistent service levels and prepare you for AAA’s anonymous service evaluation to maintain your diamond rating.
