The Fristad Consulting Group located in Southern California was created to be of assistance to lodging establishments in providing excellent guest services in conjunction with established AAA listing and rating guidelines.

Steve Fristad brings 25 years of experience with AAA (Auto Club of Southern California) as a Field Inspector/Evaluator/Tourism Editor responsible for evaluating lodging establishments and assigning the appropriate diamond ratings in accordance with AAA guidelines. He has also been responsible for working with employees and management in resolving employee disputes and legal issues, as well as developing and presenting training programs to all levels of management and employees.

Fristad Consulting Group is available to present a variety of training programs to various levels of hotel employees, provide 4 and 5 diamond service evaluations, and assist owners and management companies in preparing their property for listing with AAA and determining the proper diamond rating consistent with the property’s financial and service objectives.
